1 ECD
Activity
Here's an emotional leadership activity for exploring the emotions that might hold your people and teams back.
Use the ECD to answer this question: What red flag emotions serve as a warning sign about problems our team might be facing?
Step 1: Select the three white ECD cards you hope would not be expressed often in your team, but, if expressed, would serve as the most important warning signs about team problems.
Step 2: Ask each person to share a story about why they selected those three cards.
Step 3: List three-five actions you can take to help your people manage and cope if your people experience those undesired 'red flag' emotions.
2 Pieces of Content
To Inspire
Here are two bits of content that I hope will help you see the world in a slightly different way. To provoke you to do the work that matters to humanise the workplace. Hope you enjoy.

Something I've been pondering...
“Where we once believed that emotion was detrimental to effective thought and decisions, we now know that we can’t make decisions, or even think, without being influenced by our emotions. And though— in our modern societies that are so different from the surroundings in which we evolved—our emotions are sometimes counterproductive, it is far more often the case that they lead us in the right direction. In fact without them, we’d have difficulty moving at all.”
